Job Hunting...

4/18

Wow so much happens in one day. Everyday. I guess I’m lucky because I learn how to get used to the chaos.

Today started with my insatiable desire to study abroad again and me googling my justifications for not going.

I am here to stay, to focus on what I’m doing. I hope I can get into the top makers which allows me to work in Asia!

I’ve considered whether I should go to Cambodia as it may overlap with internship. I’m gonna search the companies, see their internship dates, and if they don’t overlap, I’ll apply for Cambodia.

What if they do overlap? If I’m going for Japanese Makers, then the Shuukatsu schedule is a bit later. I think it’s worth missing some internships. Also, the topic of the workshop -environmental protection in East Asia which includes visiting companies there? Well I think it’s a very good material to showcase in interviews. I’m going to consult with my friends but I think i should go.

I need to finish searching by 5/10, which is the deadline for application. Since I’m also going to Korea, I’m going to have to be careful.

I also learned the importance of keeping schedule to not waste time. It’s so important. I feel under control when I am on a tight schedule and I stop thinking about unnecessary things.

I’ve wasted my time just not being able to hold myself for wanting to

study abroad. I’ve always dreamed about it, but failed to act. It’s nobody’s fault but my own.

I know you’re really scared of Job hunting, but know that you have the upper hand; they want you. You have the right to choose. So keep studying hard and increasing your market value. Don’t be scared; it’s a good opportunity to show them what you’ve done in university.

Unfortunately I don’t think you can really go to the 8/1-8/7 thing. If it overlaps with internships, then you can’t. But if it doesn’t, wait until 5/10, and see.

Is joining ASEP worth missing some internships?
